WATCH: Foo Fighters Mashup John Lennon and Van Halen

Yet again the Foo have brought the ROCK.

The band is currently on tour in support of their album Concrete and Gold. No strangers to covering their favourite songs during their shows, the band busted out a new one – performing a mashup of the music of John Lennon’s “Imagine” against the lyrics of Van Halen’s “Jump”. And obviously it ruled.

In a video posted to Twitter, the band rocked out in rehearsals to the mashup, which was inspired by DJ Mighty Mike, who originally brought the songs together in 2010.

Woodshedding for the summer tour has never felt so good….see you out there….(I’ll learn the words by then, I swear)
