The official trailer is out for the new Morgan Neville movie, Won’t You Be My Neighbor? that comes out this summer and for anyone who grew up with him on the tube every day, it looks like a must see.

If you are an adult who grew up in North America, you know Mr Rogers because the series originally aired in 1968 and continued in several different incarnations until 2001 and then re-runs continued on PBS until 2007.   Mr Rogers died in 2003 but his legacy will live on. He taught us how to be citizens of the world, taught us about topics that were considered taboo at the time from assassination to race relations and divorce. He taught us to be better people, how to use our imaginations and how to love.

“The greatest thing that we can do is to help someone know that they’re loved and capable of loving.”
