Sometimes, you find something that is so weird, you just have to tell everyone.

If you’re a big metal head, you’ve inevitably heard of bands like Cannibal Corpse, Nile, Dethklok…but I guarantee, you have never heard anything like Hatebeak.

Hatebeak is a trio consisting of Blake Harrison on Drums, Mark Sloan on guitar and bass…and the mononymous Waldo behind the microphone.

There’s just one little catch.

Waldo is a parrot.

Their latest full-length album, The Number of the Beak, can currently be listened to in its entirety, on YouTube. According to their Wikipedia page, they have put out several albums, with the goal of the band being to “…raise the bar for extreme music.”

You also won’t see them play live anytime soon…they never tour, as to not torture Waldo.
