Great, now the chances of Snoop Dogg doing commentary on a Leafs broadcast are out the window… Ya blew it, Toronto!

The Maple Leafs are suing Snoop Dogg for “copying” their logo and using the term ‘Leafs’ for his new marijuana company called Leafs by Snoop.

Apparently it all started last July, when Snoop began the patent process for his new brand.

The Leafs filed their opposition in December, taking issue with the use of ‘Leafs’ because “The unusual spelling could lead to confusion” adding “the similarity between the marks is exacerbated by the design elements of the LEAFS BY SNOOP Mark…”
