Felicity is a shy but beautiful 3 year old Chihuahua. She is looking for a human companion to give her lots of love and affection to help curb her nervous tendencies. Felicity can be wary of new people so those with the hustle and bustle of a busy lifestyle would not be well suited for this cutie. She prefers the easy life and once she finds her companion she would love nothing more than to take advantage of her size and thrive as the perfect lap dog for a mature home. She enjoys short walks and will accept cuddles once she’s settled in. She may not be suited for an apartment living as she can be very rude with them however if you’re willing to work with him then our Adoptions staff can discuss more with you. She does have a noisy bark when she is left alone. Felicity did come into the shelter with her other Chihuahua friends and would rather enjoy their company over unknown dogs. She would love a family with children over the age of 8 as long as they are respectful and quiet. She would not do well with high energy children or people that won’t respect her boundaries. Don’t get her wrong as she has lots of potential to becoming a well-mannered gal but you’ll need to start with the basics. She just needs someone willing to give her the patience and time with training. After she settles into her home she loves her liver treats and that may help with her training. If you have a loving home that will be able to take Felicity under your wing and help her grow in a lovely flower then stop on by to meet her!
