Had a lovely afternoon at Lake Ontario Park to help support The Kingston Humane Society for their annual pledge walk. Thanks to all those involved to help our communities homeless, neglected and abused animals find a home.

September 21st: K-Rock Presents The Glorious Sons at Richardson Stadium

This.was.LEGENDARY! Over 14,000 people in attendance for one of the biggest concerts in Kingston history at Richardson Stadium. This concert had been hyped up for months and it was definitely worth the wait. Thanks to The Glorious Sons for putting on such an awesome concert.

September 7th-8th: Garrison Family Fun Fest

We had a jam packed weekend at Garrison Family Fun Fest. Saturday night kicked off with a concert that featured Destroyer, Helix, and Prism. Sunday we partnered with Sleep Country to give away Bloom Mattresses with our Bloom Bowling game while catching all of the family fun action all day.

September 7th: Kingston Roller Derby

Awesome game to end the season for The Kingston Roller Derby!

August 22-25th: Limestone City Blues Fest

We had an awesome time at the 23rd annual Limestone City Blues Festival. Shoutout to all of the countless bands on the main stages, in the bars and in confederation park for blues lovers all over to witness. Great job by downtown Kingston for putting on another truly epic blues festival.

 

August 23rd: Royal Tusk and Texas King 

Another rockin’ party cruise on the Island Queen thanks to Royal Tusk and Texas King. Thanks to all of our listeners who came out and showed us a good time.

 

 

August 18th: Back To The Farm

We had our best day of the summer at The Mackinnon Brothers Farm for their annual music and beer festival Back To The Farm. A hot day in the sun with a record high crowd of over 4,000 people. Big shoutout to all of the bands involved which included Bon Evans, Oakridge Ave., Kim Pollard, Vohon, Meaghan Hamilton, The Wilderness, Lotus Shaker, Greg Ball, Chris Koster, Brother Elsey, Fast Romantics and the headliners of the day The Beaches.

August 16th-17th: 1000 Islands Poker Run

Beautiful weekend at Confederation Park for the 1000 Islands Poker Run. We had Live Music all weekend long which included Odette, Dead Root Revival, Oakridge Ave., Mauricio & The Latin Beat Band, Nick Babcock, The Astros, Placeholders, Lotus Shaker, The Stares, The Wilderness, and Trevor Walsh.

 

Aug 10th: Voodoo Rockfest

Voodoo Rockfest was a smash hit this year with countless rock bands tore it up at The Napanee Fairgrounds. Big shoutout to Joe Mathews of MusicFly for putting on a killer festival and supporting the local music scene.

 

August 9th: Northern Pikes at BLUMartini

Awesome show put on by Nothern Pikes at the BLUMartini! The Road Crew had a killer night meeting the band and rockin’ out with the crowd! Check out some of the rest of their summer dates on their website. Can’t wait to have them back in Kingston again.

 

August 3rd: Long Weekend Bash

Another Long Weekend Bash went in the books for the Road Crew as they headed up to Dessert Lake Camping Ground to give out the Spearhead Prize Pack, play Frisbee Golf and eat great food. August 2nd: Rockin’ The Square: Moist

The Crew had a rockin’ time at Rockin’ The Square as Kingston locals Paper Ladies and Moist put on one hell of a free concert in Springer Market Square. A packed night behind City Hall that you could hear throughout Downtown Kingston.

 

July 28th 2019: Taste of Kingston

The Road Crew had full bellies after Taste of Kingston! Local restaurants and vendors filled Confederation Park with samples of goodies all in support of Diabetes Canada D-Camp. This is a specialized camp that helps kids and youth with diabetes to camp to learn how to self manage the disease in a fun environment with friends!

July 21st 2019: Pull Together for Epilepsy Fire Truck Pull

Teams showed their strength and support for epilepsy this past weekend at the Pull Together for Epilepsy Fire Truck Pull. Team Sadie’s Clydesdales won with the fastest pull for the 3rd year in a row! Extra special this year with Sadie herself participating in the pull for the first time, showing that epilepsy can’t stop her. July 20th 2019: 6th Annual Taylor Hall Charity Ball Hockey Tournament  

Pros and Locals took over the hub at the 6th Annual Taylor Hall Charity Ball Hockey Tournament. Taylor Hall and other pro hockey player friends hit Princess Street this past weekend to raise funds for the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston and surrounding area. K-Rock’s own Matt Soper made it all the way to the finals! Even with a loss in the finals he says he will be telling his kids about beating Taylor-Hall’s team in the semi-finals for years to come.

July 13th 2019: Kingston Rollerderby

Kingston Roller Derby was a blast and quite the educational experience for Road Crew Reid. He got to learn all of the ins and outs of the game and had a blast while doing it, and so can you! July 9th 2019: Buckcherry at The Ale House

Had a blast at the Buckcherry Concert. The place was packed wall to wall with a killer lineup of bands which included Enrights, Sofa King Addicted, Joyous Wolf, and of course Buckcherry! Checkout our social media pages for some more visuals of our night.
