Ontario's Largest Indoor Waterpark Could Open 1 Hour From Kingston

Before you start planning a weekend getaway, it’s not even close to open yet, construction hasn’t begun and it’s still just a plot of land – and there’s some resistance from the community… 

Now that that’s out of the way, HO-LY this place looks fun!

Aqua World Resort has purchased a 260+ Acre plot of land near Prescott and Augusta, roughly an hour from Kingston, and plans to use the land to create a massive waterpark and conference centre just east of Brockville.

The Resort would feature Ontario’s largest indoor waterpark, a state-of-the-art gym, spa, 140-room hotel as well as cafes and restaurants.

The main developer hopes to break ground on the project in 2020 and open in 2022 but nothing has been set in stone, at this point in time.
