Missing Military Member

A Canadian Army member has gone missing, according to CFB Kingston.

Military police and over 250 Canadian Armed Forces members are searching the city for 22-year-old Michal Beaman.

He was last seen Friday night at a Nightclub on Division Street and was reported missing by his roommates Saturday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact CFB Kingston.

Coronavirus

Canada’s chief public health officer says the second case of coronavirus in the country doesn’t change her view that the risk of getting the virus remains low.

The wife of the first confirmed patient is isolated in her home after preliminary tests came back positive.

Doctor Theresa Tam says the two instances follow a reassuring pattern: only those with prolonged exposure have gotten sick.

School Break-in

Kingston Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two male suspects who broke into Frontenac Secondary School late last month.

On Dec. 23, police say the suspects entered the school and stole a cash box with a $1,000.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Kingston Police.
