City Council – Carbon Pricing

Council – Committees

Kingston city council will be discussing getting rid of several citizen advisory committees when it meets tonight.  A report from CAO Gerard Hunt was deferred in September to allow the committees to discuss his report.  Hunt is recommending a strategic planning session to look at changes to make the Kingston Environmental Advisory Forum more effective.

He’s also recommending the city dissolve the Kingston Entitlement Access Program Committee…the Kingston Memorial Centre Advisory Committee, the Near Campus Neighbourhoods Advisory Committee and merge the Museums and Collections Advisory Committee with the Municipal Heritage Committee.
