As The Verge explains, “A brief teaser for the show’s third season accompanied the announcement, giving fans plenty of cryptic hints to think over while enjoying their morning coffee.  A news broadcast from New Year’s Eve 1985 includes some bizarre intermissions from a government agency, filled with phrases like ‘when blue and yellow meet in the west’ and nonsensical terms like ‘silver cat feeds.'”

So what exactly do all of these hints mean? Stranger Things’ fans weigh in on Twitter but I guess we’ll just have to wait until July 4.

It was early December that Netflix released a 52-second teaser trailer, updating fans on Stranger Things 3.  But why wait until summer ’19?  According to Cindy Holland who is Netflix’s VP or Original Series, she explains, “It’s a hand-crafted show.  The Duffer Brother and Shawn Levy have worked really hard.  They understand the stakes are high and they want to deliver something bigger and better.”

And heads up, season 3 has some major coupledom, at least that’s what executive producer Shawn Levy told The Hollywood Reporter, “Mike and Eleven are going strong, so that’s a relationship that continues, and same with Mad Max and Lucas.  But again, they’re like 13, 14-year old kids, so what does romance mean at that stage of life?  It can never be simple and stable relationships and there’s fun to that instability.”

Save the date, folks!
