Are you in search of a loveable boy that is full of energy? Bear may be the one for you! This sweetie arrived to the shelter when his previous home was unable to provide the time and training that he needs. He is SUPER playful and enjoys the comforts of food and the game of fetch, jumping around, and playing all day long. Bear would appreciate a cozy spot to curl up in with lots of comfort to catch some needed zzz’s after a hard day of play. Like many dogs lacking consistency through puppyhood, he requires some obedience training to help him become a well-mannered gentleman. He is already on the path of greatness knowing ‘sit’ and slowly learning other commands, this pooch is full of potential! He is highly food motivated which is key in positive reinforcement training but can also lend itself to some guarding so a home ready to work with him to curb those tendencies would be rewarded with an amazing companion. Bear will be one happy boy in a loving home that has the patience to teach him how to be a gentleman and is able to provide a fenced in yard with lots of room to roam. He would not be well suited for apartment living and would prefer to be the only dog in his new home. He has lacked socialization with new people, animals and places so a home that can provide confidence and consistency for him is essential. If you are experienced owner and can provide a mature home with no children younger than 16 years old, then be sure to ask about this handsome fella today!
